This week, some of the Raw superstars will be appearing on the Smackdown brand's Armageddon pay per view, but the next Raw brand pay per view is New Year's Revolution. That show will feature the Elimination Chamber match. Tonight we will find out which five men will be facing John Cena in that match. Will Shelton Benjamin show us a new attitude? Who will be the new general manager? Will this show be on the ‘Cutting Edge' or will it fall flat on its back?
There is NO CHANCE that Vince McMahon would not come out at the start of the show. Vince says that as promised, but first . . . Vince needs a new microphone. Vince said that he would take out the trash last week. That is not a bait and switch or aberration. Last week, he fired Eric Bischoff's ass. Eric is going to stay fired. He thanks Eric for his contributions and wishes him a Merry Christmas. Vince says that everyone has been asking him who the new general manager will be. There are a number of qualified people for the job. One is his daughter, Stephanie McMahon. Another is her son, Shane McMahon. It might be another person. There was someone knocking on his door looking for a job. His name was Theo Epstein. It could be Ted Turner; it could even be one of the people in the crowd. Vince says that it won't be any of the people in the crowd. The interview process will begin tonight. An individual has been assigned as the interim general manager. It is someone thought of as a business icon and a creative genius as well as a handsome son of a bitch. It will be Vince McMahon. Vince will continue with Eric's announcement of the Elimination Chamber at New Year's Revolution. We will know who will be in that match tonight because there will be five elimination matches to see who will face John Cena. We will start off with the first qualifying match. The audience will not be censored for this man's entrance.
