His four team members are Jody Kent, president of a public relations firm, Debra Jewett, a team assistant to the staff of Hospice of the Valley in a care unit in Sun City, Ryan Winfield, a Glendale police sex-crimes detective, and Maggie Cashdollar, who teaches eighth-grade language arts and reading in the Osborn School District.

Alternate team members are Any Ochoa, manager of a trophy-and-awards company, and Joe Achittien, a field technician for equipment and truck repair who is part owner of Mid Valley Field Service in Mohave Valley.

"They will learn another culture, share what they know, and bring it back here," Guida said. It's all paid for by Rotary International as a cultural exchange between people.

The group will be hosted by Rotary clubs and local officials as they travel around the province, staying with various Rotarians. And they will look for experiences to share.

Cashdollar, the teacher, will be speaking in schools in India, possibly learning teaching methods they use. Winfield, the detective, will spend time checking out police methods in India with Rotarians there who are police officers.
