It seems there's a typo on a Web site and in printed material distributed by the state. The toll-free number with information about handicapped or animal-friendly plates has one of the new 8-8-8 area codes, instead of the usual 1-800 numbers.

State officials tell The Star-Ledger newspaper the Web site's been corrected. They're also making stickers with the right number to be placed on brochures that have been printed.
